ABOUT THE ARTIST​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

By the age of six Langley was drawing paper dolls and horses. By junior high and high school she was designing posters, parade floats, stage sets and a yearbook. It was in college that she began the serious study of painting, first at the University of Alabama and then at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree.

After college, she pursued other passions, raising two children and immersing herself in the creative side of advertising as an award-winning copywriter and producer. Years later, as an empty-nester, she returned to her love of painting, securing gallery representation in her hometown of Montgomery, Alabama, and at nearby Lake Martin. Today she makes her home--and studio--in Marietta, Georgia.                                                  

Langley’s work has won a succession of awards and is part of numerous corporate and private collections.
